The Umrao

I really appreciate the excellent service provided by everyone here—from the restaurant staff and receptionists to the attentive housekeeping team. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Even a senior executive came to greet me; he was courteous, gracious, and cheerful, and even left me his business card. This is exactly the kind of approach that truly delights and satisfies guests. They treat every customer equally, without distinction. I would always rate this place five stars—or even higher.

While I was very satisfied with everything, I would like to offer one piece of sincere feedback. You might want to take some time to make a few minor adjustments, as there was a slight musty odor in the bathroom—though it wasn't a big deal. Most importantly, the service you provided was excellent. Thank you very much; I will certainly be returning to your hotel often.

Location is great andnproperty neat and clean excellent staff

Beautiful landscaping, great food options, lovely spa and Wellness area

Breakfast area over air conditioned.

The grand Drive to the hotel and the lobby / entrance area are quite impressive. However these are only first impressions. The carpets on the ground-floor (to the rooms) must have been there for a long time, being grubby from use and spillages of coffee and tea over the years. The room was clean and tidy. In the washing / shower room the shower, wash-basin tap and associated plumbing worked, but were clearly showing signs of age. The beds was large and comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep. A swim in the hotel's outdoor pool was very pleasant. However, also here, the paving stones around the pool's edge were showing signs of age - many of them were loose. They should be re-set and the filling around them re-pointed to make them safe again. In conclusion, The Umrao is all right if all you need is a good night's sleep and the close proximity Delhi's main airport.
