Santorini Camping & Hostel

I stayed in a mens 6 or 8 bed dorm at Santorini Camping and Hostel and had a generally positive experience. As it was the last week of August or early September, there were not many people staying at the hostel so there was plenty of space. If the hostel was full, it would be a bit crowded in the rooms. The price for a three day stay was very reasonable. There were some initial problems with my bed, but the staff stepped in quickly to correct them, which I really appreciated. The pool was a great plus, especially after a hot day of sightseeing. It was located right outside the dorm rooms. The luggage storage was very useful, and the separate kitchen facilities made it easy to prepare meals without getting in anyone's way. Overall, a solid choice for budget travelers, and the friendly, responsive staff made a real difference. I would recommend it.

bed mattresses were a bit hard - could have been more comfortable.

The location is just a 5mins walk from Fira Bus Station, and the Hostel has a huge swimming pool where you can enjoy after your tour in santorini.

The beds are a little noisy everytime you move. And the door in the washroom are not functioning well, you can’t even close when you’re inside

Nice pool, bar has good music at night, camper showers have a lot of pressure, comfy bed in the dorms. Dorm right on pool with lots of bougainvilla. Location is a five-minute walk from the central bus station, so you can easily get anywhere on the island quickly. Fira itself is a tourist trap, but the camping is just outside of the main part of the town so you don't have to enter unless you want to. I booked two weeks before and paid 19 euros per night for a dorm bed in early Sept. It was worth it - a very good value.

Dorm rooms would be cramped if full, and the en suite bathroom/shower doesn't have anywhere to hang your towel or clothes. A bit of a smell coming from camper toilets but you only smell it when you're in the camper shower. The breakfasts are expensive, and the morning crew a bit grumpy.

The outside view was nice, relaxing. Great place for a relaxing holiday (if other facilities were good)

Cleanliness and facilities were poor. Bathroom was dirty and door was not lockable. There was no hanger or hook inside to hang the towel. Bathroom light didn't work. Charging sockets were not near the bed. Floor was dirty. One of the girls didn't want AC and I had to suffer.
