The Celyn

The Celyn is perfectly situated in the tiny lanes leading into the beautiful Black Mountains, great for walkers, artists, or anyone wanting a quiet escape from busy towns. Paul & Sarah are so welcoming, the perfect hosts, they accommodated my vegetarian breakfast, fruit, nuts & vegan yoghurts all beautifully presented, a huge lounge for guests is a nice touch too. Comfy bed, compact shower room but nice large bedroom, all spotlessly clean with tv, chair & desk & mountain views from my skylights. I was travelling alone but felt very at home!

Nothing to dislike!

Absolutely perfect location in a stunning environment. We spent two weeks on this amazing farm with Sarah and Paul as very caring, lovely hosts. They made every wish come true and organized our stay with kindness and hospitality! We very much recommend Celyn Farm Bed and Breakfast!

Everything was perfect!

Hosts were just lovely people, very welcoming. Spotlessly clean room and the best breakfast during our week of touring south Wales. Parking available. Quiet location. Communal lounge and breakfast room. Car is essential for this property and be prepared to reverse on a very narrow lane if you happen to meet another vehicle. Nearest small town is pleasant with a number of places to eat in the evening.

Our room was on the top floor and 6ft 4” husband struggled in the small en suite with sloping ceiling - nobody’s fault, just unfortunate that no other room available.

Lovely setting in the black mountains. Beautiful house with wonderful view from our room over Sugarloaf mountain. Easy parking. Sarah and Paul were friendly and welcoming hosts and had decorated our room in celebration of my husband’s birthday. Really comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast was great, including locally sourced sausages, bacon and smoked salmon. Enjoyed the company of another couple at breakfast with a beautiful outlook. Guest lounge is a great addition and unusual to find this in a b and b. Short drive to Crickhowell for an evening meal and so well situated for exploring the area. We will definitely return! X
