Store Ringheim Hotel og Restaurant

The property was once a farm and is still owned and managed by the family. It is above the town of Voss a short distance away. We ate in the restaurant which was excellent. Fresh locally sourced produce gourmet quality prepared by the owner.

Very comfortable and clean accommodations. Host was outstanding and very welcoming! Restaurant for dinner was great, too, and the breakfast selection and variety was awesome.

Thr location is good for anyone with a car who wants to explore this area of Norway. We used this as a base for two days of area exorations .

We liked it all

Lovely peaceful location in the most beautifully converted wooden farm buildings. Our room was very comfortable, tranquil, a mix of old and new furniture. Good bathroom. The hotel is extremely comfortable, elegant, traditional and welcoming, a family run establishment. The most wonderful evening meal and delicious breakfast. Very relaxing and just perfect. Our host and staff were charming, the gardens delightful. Lovely walks, views of mountains all around, walk to the forest and the old folk museum past a field of friendly sheep and lovely houses.
