Casa Rio Blanco Eco Friendly B&B

Such a beautiful place to stay, we only wish it could have been for longer.

Staying at Casa Río Blanco was one of those experiences that goes far beyond simply having a place to sleep. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. What made my stay especially memorable was the incredible kindness of the host. She was so warm, generous, and attentive, and we ended up spending a lot of time talking and sharing conversations. She made me feel less like a guest and more like a friend. Every day, she was there to help me with whatever I needed, always with a smile and such genuine kindness. Her hospitality made such a difference during my stay. It’s rare to meet someone who puts so much heart into making you feel comfortable and at home. Casa Río Blanco is a beautiful place, but what truly makes it special is the person behind it. I’m incredibly grateful for the time I spent there and for all the little things she did for me every day. I would absolutely recommend Casa Río Blanco to anyone visiting Río Blanco. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with wonderful hospitality and a host who truly cares, this is the place. I hope to come back someday!

It was a perfect stay and a very beautiful place with the sound of nature around. The location was located very convenient to get the bus to Tortuguero the next day. Delicious breakdast!

Way to expensive for what you get.Basically a tent with no window, just a screen, all was very primitive! I was expecting something totally different, a room in a building, but this is not advertised how it actually is.The river is very close and pretty loud, because there are no windows, just screens it very loud during the night. The shower is not grounded, dangerously installed. All the buildings are primitive and behind in maintenance. To be honest we were in shock to see what we got for what we paid. There are no pictures of the buildings on the website , you see the building where the host lives and think that that will be the place, but that isn’t the case at all.
