The cottage was perfect as a base for northern lights and exploring wild nature trails. The house has its fireplace and sauna, so even when it was cold outside, inside it wass very cosy. We travelled by car, that we could park next to the cottage. We also used car to reach different spots to hunt for northern lights, as it can get cloudy quite rapidly. In walking distance there is a well-equipped market with a variety of food options. Finally, we had very good communication with the hosts, on the day of our arrival (middle of a night), they left lights outside of the cottage and pre-heated it, so we had a really nice welcome.

Everything was perfect.

Kilpisjarvi jest wyjątkowe. Szlaków wokół do wyboru do koloru. Pieszych szlaków, bo to góry. Jezioro ogromne, majestatyczne. Domek spełnia wszystkie warunki do spędzenia kilku dni. Kuchnia wyposażona doskonale. Sauna w domku.

Trochę drogo, ale w Finlandii w ogóle tanio nie jest.

Big cottage , has a working fire place, plenty of woods , sauna is hot , a several beds I really think this place comes with northern lights included , cause it was dancing amazingly just above the cottage all night long ! Very convenient when you don’t have to drive to chase it , it’s just there

I wish towels and linens would be included

The cottage was lovely. We had our private Sauna - a lovely fireplae for cosy evenings.
