Downtown Hostel

The hostel was very practical for visiting Tartu. You can walk to old city center in few minutes. Kitchen and shower/toilet were shared with 2 other rooms, so it depends a lot which kind of neighbours you get. The walls between rooms are not too thick. It was somebody all the time available at reception, if you happen to need help.

At september it was okay, but at summer time the rooms may be very hot.

Bus stop is nearby, quite place, comfortable

Light was making little sound but it works well.

I liked more closet at room. kitchen also organized and everything is cleaned.

all are in good condition.

The room is cozy and perfect for students coming from other cities for exams. It’s also a great option if you just need a place to stay overnight. I often stay here, and usually everything is fine.

It’s a pity that check-in isn’t available before 4 PM - an earlier option would make it even more convenient. Unfortunately, this time the cleanliness of the shower was very disappointing. There were dried clumps of what looked like shampoo or shower gel stuck to the walls, with dirty streaks everywhere. It was really unpleasant. I hope this issue will be taken more seriously in the future, because apart from that, the stay was good as always.
