Wise Owl Hostels Shibuya

The location being in Shibuya but about 15 min walk to the actual craziness was so nice. Location was convenient while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. Everything was clean. I extended 2 more nights. The staff was also so wonderful from the front desk to the cleaning staff. I stayed for about a week by myself in my own room and felt safe and comfortable. Special mention to the cleaning staff Beth and Cherry. They were very lovely people who made my stay very human and warm even if it wasn't their job plus actually being great at their job making the spaces spotless! Thank you

The properties private rooms were nice, had mini fridge, microwave and a small couch. Beds were decently comfortable as well.

There was no atmosphere at all. Couldn’t be more BORING! It doesn’t take a lot of effort to put together some weekly events and tell the guest about them when they check in. Should be labeled as an affordable hotel not a hostel.

-Private bunk bed room -key card security -can drop off luggage -near a convenient store -1 free towel for showering -air conditioning worked great! -small little sink in room. -shared shower rooms had shampoo,conditoner,and body wash.

-room was a bit smelly -i wasnt allowed to check in early so I had to rush back before 11pm to avoid the late check in fee. I get their policy but that was a bit annoying. -some guests are noisy at night. Not the hostels fault obviously. -i think theres only 1 washer and 1 dryer so it was always occupied. Better to go to the nearest laundromat. -room is pretty tight. Not the best if you have 1 large luggage. If youre just backpacking, its ok.

Clean, good size double room. Clean and well maintained shared bathrooms just 10 seconds down the hall. Lift access to each floor and laundry facilities provided. Staff some spoke very good english!

Poorly located hostel near to Shibuya. Not located close to any train stations, meaning a walk up a steep hill and then a bus journey is the quickest way into central Shibuya. Very bland, generic looking city area to stay in on a busy road. Poorly made bed and loud air conditioning.
