Our stay at Castello delle Serre was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found somewhere very special. Antonio and Kaci are, without a doubt, the absolute best hosts. They have a genuine warmth and hospitality that makes you feel less like a guest and more like part of their family. Every single day, they went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. They helped us plan our days, made reservations, offered wonderful recommendations, and even provided detailed maps and driving directions so that we could explore the area with ease. Their attention to detail and genuine desire to make sure their guests have an amazing experience is something we will never forget. And then there is the property itself — absolutely unbelievable. Driving up to the main entrance feels like something out of a fairytale. The first sight of the magnificent castle tower is simply breathtaking. The entire property has a sense of history, beauty, and tranquility that is difficult to put into words. It is one of those rare places where the setting itself becomes part of the experience. Our room was beautifully appointed and had everything we could have wanted. It was comfortable, charming, and perfectly suited to the character of the property. And I can honestly say that I had some of the best sleep of our entire trip to Italy at Castello delle Serre. There is something incredibly peaceful about being there. If you have the opportunity to attend one of their fixed-price menu dinners, do it! These were easily among the best meals we had during our entire time in Italy. Everything is prepared with so much care and love, using fresh ingredients and traditional homemade cooking. You can truly taste the difference. The meals felt personal and authentic — the kind of food that stays with you long after the dinner is over. What makes Castello delle Serre so special isn't just the incredible property or the wonderful food.
