Palazzo Pischedda

We had room 5 on the second floor which has a very spacious terrace looking down on the river and up to the castle. Perfect!

Beautiful Palazzo a 2 minute walk to the old town. Beautiful garden to have breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and we had an enormous veranda with lounges and spa bath. Clothes rack for drying clothes.

We had the loft room and the stairs are badly designed. At night when going down the steps, every so carefully to the bathroom in the dark, the last three steps curve around but you can't see them so l fell and broke my little toe in the process. They need a night light at the bottom of the stairs.

We are senior citzents. We received a room with the double bed on elevated sleeping platform with many stairs. This was a problem for both of us. The hotel was fully booked and we could not get a suitable room with one level. The staff was kind to arrange a sofa into a single bed enabling one of us to sleep downstairs. We ordered superior bedroom as I thought with a normal double bed in one floor, however aparantly we received confirmation with photos of the elevated bed, that I did not notice. If this situation was clear to us from the beginning we most probably would not have ordered room with this hotel.

The location is good to visit the city by foot. The parking is also a plus.

The airco in the room isn’t strong enough to cool down the mezzanine with the bed. It was far too hot to have a good sleep. Choose a room without this feature. The view on the castle requires that you step on the very small balcony to see it. The room has no kettle, no tea or instant coffee available.
