Comfotel PRPL

The room was small, but spotless, and everything you'd need in a budget hotel such as this, good shower, working toilet, tea making facilities, and a really comfortable bed.

I didn't like the way reception for the hotel was across the road from the main hotel building which led to a very embarrassing walk across the road during the night when I accidentally locked myself out my room thinking I was going to the bathroom!!

How close it was to O2 shepherd's bush empire. Some nice places to eat and to get bits that you may require.

When we arived we did not know the reception was in an other building to the left had to ring the phone number to see how to get in. The room was in need of a fresh up. It must of had a heavy smoker staying before we arrived. The room was clean and had fresh bed linen and clean and soft towels.

Central, very easy check in and staff was very helpful

The apartment was reasonably spacious and satisfactory overall. However, the furniture was old and had several dents and signs of wear. There was mould around the silicone seals in the bathroom. I asked for an adapter to convert the UK plugs to European-style sockets. They provided one, but tried to charge me £5 in cash for it. I managed to avoid paying, tactfully. 😉 On the first day, the cleaner forgot to close our apartment door, leaving it open for the entire day. I raised the issue with the staff the following day, and fortunately, it did not happen again.
