The old world feeling of the hotel.
No staff at reception which was a bit confusing for booking in.

Great location and superb staff. Superior room very large
Could do with some work on the property and there was a poor choice for breakfast.

It was convenient, clean and the pub part is nice and bright. Great shortbread biscuits in the room!
Cold room, luke warm only water for bath/shower. Checkin area feels a bit seedy, staff carried on their conversation complaining about something when I arrived to check in, woken to a 20-30 minute rant by staff outside my door complaining about other members of staff. Wifi was very poor which as someone who needed to work in the evening was very frustrating.

"The staff and owner are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Felt like a home away from home. Quaint old English inn."
