Beautiful building and felt quite special arriving. Staff were lovely and can’t fault them. Perhaps some policies weren’t great like welcome drinks voucher was from the bar but it was strictly for coffee or iced tea. 25% off voucher was not for alcohol. These are pretty minor tbh just felt bad for the staff enforcing all the little rules. We stayed while there was a wedding so the kids kind of took over the pool. Only two sunbeds so be good to invest in a few more. Maybe we just didn’t really enjoy Jakarta…. Anyway it’s a lovely hotel

Stayed at the Gran Mahakam a few weeks ago and nothing has changed. Still exceptional professional staff and service. Room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was varied and tasty. I’m looking forward to my next stay.
