Hotel Schmerkötter

I had such a wonderful experience at the Hotel Schmerkötter. I stayed there for two weeks while I was taking a course at Ruhr Universität. Everything at the hotel was perfect: my room was so spacious and clean, the location was amazing, the staff was so friendly and caring, and of course the best part of the whole experience was Oly the cat. He is the cutest, happiest cat. He is totally non-invasive and well-behaved (he never goes in the rooms) but he is also so friendly and will absolutely accept being stroked and petted (I spent most of my time in Bochum stoking him!). Couldn't have asked for a better experience, thank you so much for everything!

Breakfast was great and the service was good

The shower was not clean, but since i didn't complain they didn't get the chance to fix that. The beds were a little bit too soft so we put the matrasses on the ground.
