The property and villas are a beautiful time piece. If you are interested in a unique retreat-like property with lovely, attentive staff and a delicious breakfast this is your place.

However, the villa itself greatly lacks functionality as a livable space. The furniture is difficult to navigate, as it takes up too much space, making the sitting room very cramped. Secondarily, there is no storage or space for utility in the bathroom or shower. I understand that these villas honor their architecture, but they are pretty impractical for modern utility. Lastly, we booked the property mostly for its pool for our little one. We were notified less than a week before arrival that there would be no access to the pool because it would be under construction. It was too late to book other properties we had considered, as they were already at capacity. We were offered a 3 hour pottery class and complimentary sauna for 30 minutes instead which are impractical for a family with small children. Greatly disappointed.
