Herrenhaus von Löw

This hotel is quite old and quaint, but clean and quiet. Our host was delightful and spoke very good English as well as German. He had a delightful sense of humor! The breakfast served every morning was quite substantial and tasty, I especially adored the dining area; old fashioned, done up beautifully, and so cheerful and inviting!

Air conditioning would have been nice versus just a fan, but other than that, our stay was pleasant and quiet, just as we like.

Rustikales älteres Hotel aber trotzdem sehr schön. Das Gebäude liegt an der Ortsdurchgangsstraße von Steinfurth, ist aber recht ruhig gelegen. Sehr großes Zimmer und schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt zirka 4 Kilometer entfernt vom Kurort Bad Nauheim. Mit dem Fahrrad kein Problem. Fährt man aber mit dem Auto, benötigt man fast überall einen Parkschein. Kostenloser Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel. Manchmal ist es zwar etwas schwierig aber irgendwie geht es immer das Auto abzustellen.

Die Fenster lassen sich zwar öffnen, es gibt aber keine Kippfunktion

We room was very clean and comfortable beds.

We asked two months ago to get a special room the main house. We didn’t even know they had rooms in another building doesn’t show on booking….We sent a reminder the day before again. When we arrived we got a room in another building charmless and a bit worn down. With the explanation that the main house was fully booked, we would have chosen another hotel if we knew what room they gave us.The price for the room we got was overpriced we felt deceived. On the evening we planned to eat at the restaurant at the hotel, after being treated a bit rude we decided to go somewhere else. Not impressed at all.
