The hotel was in a village close to the M62 and though you could hear traffic with window open when you closed the window there was another sliding window which blocked the noise completely we were upgraded to an executive room (which I’m not sure was that executive with wallpaper ripped and tired decor) but it was a big room and had a fridge in which was quite random - bed was very comfortable
When he upgraded us we were not sure if it included the continental breakfast as he mentioned what times breakfast was, we came downstairs in the morning and there was absolutely nothing out on the tables when we enquired he said it’s £8.95 each if you tell me what you want I’ll go and get it this we declined

Rooms were well signed and easy to find.
Not super clean; only 1 towel for 2 guests and no-one on reception when I went down to ask for another.
My friends who had the breakfast said it wasn't worth the money, so I was glad I hadn't bought that as an extra.
