Leivatho Hotel

Fabulous hotel in lovely grounds. The swimming pool is huge and there are plenty of sunbeds. The restaurant provides a great breakfast, if a little repetitive, and they also have a couple of dishes in the evening if you choose to dine in; they are good quality and good value. The bedrooms are big, with a fully equipped kitchenette area, comfortable beds and great wi-fi. Everything is very clean. However, I think the main asset of the hotel are its staff! They are all friendly and very helpful and nothing seems too much trouble for any of them. They really make you feel so welcome.

The a/c in our room was not very efficient; it took a while for the room to cool down on a hot day. Otherwise, I would have given this hotel a 10.

Overall location. Peaceful. Vrry clean. Simple decor. Staff outstanding. Friendly. Food vrry good.

Breakfast hot buffet not hot.

Large comfortable and quiet room. The staff were very helpful and friendly, always on hand if needed. The breakfast was great with lots of options and a very pleasant spacious indoor and outdoor dinning area. The rooms were spread throughout the very pretty hotel grounds so felt quite private. The swimming pool was excellent and luckily for us empty each time we went - would have been nice to have opened earlier in the morning for a pre breakfast swim. Plenty of sunbeds in the pool/garden area with a view towards the sea. The beach and 2 restaurants are a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Our only criticism was the music, which although not too loud, was continuous in the back ground throughout the day and evening in the restaurant and garden area. We would have have enjoyed some quiet time but maybe that is a personal choice.

The property was a little dated however it was clean.

The staff at the front desk weren’t very helpful or friendly. When we asked about a boat tour we were given brochures to contact various tour groups etc. Most hotels of this standard would offer this service. In addition to this during breakfast a staff member was standing alongside the food at all times, this was quite intimidating and made you feel uncomfortable as you were being watched. Finally, when we checked out there was no acknowledgment from the lady at the front desk, no thank you or good bye…….
