Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft mit aussergewöhnlicher Aussicht aufs Matterhorn.

The facilities at Chalet Gädi were excellent. The converted barn had so much character - just what I had hoped for. Bed was very comfortable, including the special tree pillow. Bathroom was finished to a high standard. Shower was great. Susanne was so nice to come and open the washing machine cupboard for us. After a week of hillwalking we really needed to clean our gear. Views of the Matterhorn were amazing. Especially from the terrace. Once we got up early for a guided hike and saw a line of head torches heading up the Matterhorn from the Hörnlihütte! It was spectacular. The first evening we sat outside, a young deer stopped by.

There were quite a few spiders. Luckily a vacuum cleaner was available.

The view. It is a very charming and cosy chalet.

It was a bit difficult to find on arrival. It is difficult to get the luggage to and from the streets to get a taxi.
