What a lovely scenic and charming hotel, with beautiful surroundings, lovely and friendly staff (including the dog 🐕) and excellent food in the restaurant. Great parking too! Can't believe it is rated a one star!

Peaceful rural location. Very friendly couple running the Pousada. As a frequent traveler I hardly ever rate a property with a 10 but this special place absolutely deserves it.

Location was quiet and peaceful.
Swimming pool was a real treat (and still open in September).
Friendly helpful owners who ran the hotel.
Good home-cooked dinners.
Traditional furnishing, giving an alpine lodge feel.

Bathroom was a little dated.
Breakfast was rather bread heavy for me.

The hosts were lovely and the meal was very good.
We were in the two bed cottage on a hot night with little breeze and without aircon it would benefit from a fan.
