This location has a breathtaking view of the Douro River and surrounding hills with Spain being right on the East Coast of the river. Breakfast and dinner were excellent along with a very hospitable and accommodating staff. Manuela is the consummate host, and this was a repeat stay for us. We were here a few years ago for one night, we stayed two nights this time around and God willing we plan to return again in the future.
We can't think of anything that could have been better.

We were met at the door by the host and shown to our large rooms with huge bathrooms and showers.
Then we sat on the terrace with a fantastic view over the valley and lake.
The food was delicious, all accompanied with a local wine.
