The hotel is gorgeous and location is perfect for visiting Bathoroy castle is perfect. Also close to many other castles in the vicinity. Town is quiet with good restaurants, including the one at Palatin. Highly recommend.

Hotel is great but be prepared that the only market in town closes at noon on Saturday and all day Sunday.

Like staying with the family

Mattress was hard

Beautiful building, the owner puts lots of work in it. The back of the yard is not quite finished, but still nice. Do check the two beautiful old trees in there! Something amazing! Our room faced the inner courtyard, which also is where the outside sitting area is for the restaurant. But fear not, they close at 8Pm so by the time it is time for sleeping, it is all quiet. The owner is super nice. Restaurant on site is quite handy and the food is good and they have delicious home-made limonade.

Our room was specious and generally very nice, but if you are not used to firm mattresses you might find first night not so comfy. Nothing atypical in the area, our friends stayed in different location, as this one was full already, and they had the same firm mattresses experience. Not related to the property itself, but I would love to see some more traditional Slovak food on the menu of the on-site restaurant.

Stosunek ceny do jakości. Wanna w pokoju .
