Mama's Home Rome

We had the most fabulous stay at Mama’s Home in Rome. The location was amazing right in Campo dei Fiori close to all major attractions and steps from restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and gorgeous, the beds were 5 star, the and the owners and staff were super friendly and helpful with all our questions and had great recommendations. We can’t wait to visit again and stay here again. Thank you Mama’s Home for making Rome feel like Home!

Nothing to complain, everything was great

The room was so clean and everyone was absolutely wonderful especially Olivia. She gave amazing details about things to do in Rome and help me with setting up for my friends surprise. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay!

The location is unbeatable for exploring the city of Rome. The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable.

This was our third time at this property in the span of around six years. The previous two times we had booked rooms which were higher up in the building - and that’s important because when you are higher up you have less of the noise coming from the square and the restaurants at the ground floor of the building. However, I mistakenly booked the suite this time which is effectively located on the raised ground floor level and directly above a restaurant. There was quite some noise coming from the restaurant and the busy square that the (very good quality) windows could not mask, especially during the evenings - but this was still ok for us though if you’re a light sleeper it would probably bother you. The big problem for us was that you could hear the plumbing from the rooms above as well as footsteps and furniture that was dragged along the floor. On our second night, we were brutally awakened at 6am by the people upstairs. We could hear the shower going on and the toilet being flushed, furniture being dragged along the floor, stuff dropping on the ground… definitely not what you have in mind when paying this kind of prices. Also, the towels, though clean, they had mascara markings on them and also a faint smell of vinegar. Bottom line, if you choose Mama’s Home Rome, be sure to book the rooms that are located at the higher floors.
