Very friendly staff. Locally owned and authentic.
Hard to get transportation. You must book taxi ahead. Tried UBER. They put through rides but couldn’t find a driver so had to get a Credit. Book taxi ahead!!

The pub itself the meal we had and the breakfast oh and the staff.

Conveniently location on route to Scotland.
Some details advertised weren’t delivered or had to be requested. Being charged an extra fee for our dog even though we already booked and paid for a dog-friendly room - and this was confirmed prior. It was also just added to our dinner bill without a word so we had to ask. We also didn’t get the dog-welcome pack which wasn’t a deal breaker for us but is another example of detail they ought to be on top of - especially if they’re going to promote it.
