A grand old hotel. Downstairs there was free coffee and tea and pastries. The breakfast is probably the best we have had in many many hotels. Sizzling fried eggs with truffles, and baked legumes with a cheese sauce. Hôtel was in a good location in old part of town. We could put our tandem bike in a locked storage area across the road.

Lounge area was decorated in a modern and stylish was. I spent a couple of hours here with a coffee and some books the hotel had dotted around. Very pleasant indeed.
The layout of the room was not ideal. But this is a period property that's been converted, so you expect some compromises.
