I'd rather have a ground floor

The hotel has been renovated, everything in the room was clean, bright. At the reception the guy was very kind and knew English. We had a nice conversation on various topics. The best Premier I have ever stayed at.

This is a budget hotel with the emphasis on basic. You pay less than half the price you'd pay for something similar in Paris so it's with that in mind that you should weigh up the place. I chose it because I used to work in Cergy St Christophe and wanted to have a look round the area after many years away. It has changed massively and for the better. Anyway, breakfast is basic (bread, butter, jam, coffee, juice, cake). The RER is 15-20 minutes walk away (both Cergy St Christophe and Cergy Le Haut) and will take you into central Paris in about 40 minutes for 2.55 euros. There was always staff on reception and you paid when arriving, meaning you didn't have to pay months or weeks in advance. Despite being next to the A14 it's quiet. I'd recommend it if you're prepared to put up with basic and a long trip into town in return for a big price discount.

A bit more variety and selection at breakfast would have been nice. I stayed 7 nights and on 2 occasions my room wasn't cleaned. It didn't matter too much but was a bit of an oversight.
