Hotel Hahn

When we were dropped off by car service, I could not believe my eyes!!!! In the middle of Munich Germany I am standing in a little bit of Bavarian Heaven!!! Everywhere you can see and feel the love and happiness at being in this part of the world!!! This is an old style comfort inn, and we loved every bit of it !!! Petra, the hostess, is an angel and went out of her way to make sure we felt welcome and pampered !! She helped us purchase local transportation so that we could get around on our own. And was able at the last minute get us tickets for an excursion that sells out quickly. She is smart, kind, funny, cheerful and will make sure you have a memorable stay in her city and country!!! You will not regret staying at the HOTEL HAHN!!!

CANNOT IMPROVE ON PERFECTION!!!

We had a very warm and friendly welcome by the family owners. The hotel is very charming, well maintained and clean.

The bedroom was on the small side and the step to get into the shower was difficult for my friend who has minor mobility issues.

This is a lovely hotel and the best thing about it is the staff, who are fantastic and always ready to help. It has a traditional Bavarian image (including dirndls and lederhosen) and that adds to the charm. The bed was big and comfortable and although the room was fairly compact, it was fine for a week. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hotel is about 2 miles out of the city centre, but very well connected by public transport. The S1 and S8 lines both run directly from the airport to the nearby rail station (about 40 minutes) and there are frequent trams into the centre. (Use the MVV app for all public transport except main-line railways.) There are several nearby Bavarian and other restaurants. The nearby Verkehrszentrum is worth a visit, and the Theresienwiese (site of the Oktoberfest) are within staggering distance.

My only dislike was the shower that sat on a platform and wasn't the easiest to get into!

The breakfast was good. The location not good for me.

The location wa# too far from the city center. You could take a convenient tram to get there but I wanted to be in a closer neighborhood. Restaurants were decent but choices limited, there were no other shops in the neighborhood. The beds were not very comfortable. The worst, is that it was not air conditioned necessitating open windows, and the traffic and noise from the few restaurants prevented restfully sleep.
