The hotel is darling, we stayed in the adjacent larger family suite so not in the main building but it was a nice setup. Parking is very accessible even if they don’t have spaces in their drive there’s a lot 10 feet across the street. We appreciated the closeness to the river and the walking path.
When we checked in it was after hours (8pm) and it was dark, we had to locate the room on our own which wasn’t inside the main building. And there was no lighting and couldn’t see to get to our room. That was the biggest pickle. They have a decent breakfast. But the bar and restaurant was closed the entire time we were there (Wednesday to Sunday). They have a nice camping ground really close and I could image the beer garden would have been a smash had it been open! They would have been busy!

Quiet location with great views. Host was welcoming and suggested place to eat in the town
Surprised that the bottle of water in the room was chargeable and the bathroom was a bit dated

Good location
The man that greeted us was rather surly and unhappy. Wasn’t very welcoming and seemed more interested in watching YouTube at the bar than helping guests. However later that night the lady that took over was the opposite, she was very nice.

"Excellent Stay! I have stayed at the Posch at least 12 times for 5-17 days at a time. It's like a second home. The location is perfect for day trips to Austria and Italy."
