Easily accessible and friendly staff

The beds could have been softer

Lovely hotel and decent rooms

Location wasn’t the best and lumpy bed

I have to say this ibis was excellent. As soon as we walked in there was a real cleanliness and a freshness to the place. We went upstairs and the hallway ,the corridors were clean, we went into our room. It was absolutely spotless. The bathroom was compact the room was compact, but everything was perfect and clean. The hotel we’ve been in the previous night wasn’t absolute disaster- double the money and the pictures on the website look nothing like the facility . That hotel was dirty dingy and seedy in the botanic area. Whilst this is an ibis we were delighted to arrive for one night in a hotel that was fresh and clean and comfortable. Not forgetting the staff. The lady who welcomed us when we arrived was warm and friendly and quite happily took our bags because we were early for checkin. When we came back to do a full check-in, the lady behind the bar spotted we had bag tags and got the bag straight away and the staff member checking us in was very friendly and welcoming. Such a contrast from the night before..

I liked everything about the hotel. The only thing I would say is just give a few more regular teabags. 🤣Because usually when people arrive into a hotel, they might have a cup of tea to start with. They might have a cup of tea before they go to bed and they might have a cup of tea when they wake up in the morning. Apart from that, nothing else.

Location was great

Mould in the bathroom. Musty smell and heating wouldn’t come on.
