Great stopover motel. The location is a few minutes off the A71 and has recently been refurbished and is clean and smart. The beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant offers a simple evening meal.
The information about check in and whether the restaurant was open wasn't clear. We were booked to stay on a Sunday and recvd a message saying we would have to use an automatic check in machine. However when we arrived, reception was open and staffed and the restaurant was open. We were of course delighted but it would have been better if the information provided was more accurate.

Great location just off the main autoroute- great stop over with about 4 and a half to five hours drive to Calais. Clean and a kettle in the room is a welcome addition. There is a restaurant on site which we did not use due to a poor previous experience but there is a buffalo grill opposite- just a short walk away.
Although it’s been renovated the bathrooms are a bit tired, the toilet did not flush well and the edging to the shower mouldy. No hairdryer in the room

Location was poor, on busy main road, did not find anywhere to walk to.
