Villa Grachira

We spent a few wonderful days at the end of August in Alghero, Sardinia, where our expectations were exceeded. No matter where we went (whether on boat trips, visiting small towns, or exploring the islands), everything was simply amazing, and we were absolutely delighted. Everywhere we eat was a special culinary experience; the service was generally very good, and the prices (despite the theory that Sardinia is a very expensive island) seemed normal for that destination to us, often being lower than prices in our own country. As for our stay at Villa Grachira and the very kind and extremely welcoming host, Rafaella, we have nothing but words of praise. We stayed in a double room with a sea view on the top floor, featuring a lovely terrace and the sea right at our feet every morning, where we could hear the peaceful sound of the waves. The room was very cozy, extremely clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The bed and linens were clean and ensured we got a perfect night’s rest. We had a decent and sufficient breakfast, even if it wasn’t always perfect, along with excellent coffee, but the atmosphere and the location right by the sea were exceptional. It’s a place we’ll happily return to anytime. I’m attaching a few photos of the villa, since it’s hard for me to choose from the hundreds of photos I took during this wonderful vacation.

I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to pay a little more attention to supplementing the breakfast offerings, considering that on several occasions we’ve run out of some essential items (cold cuts, cheeses, bread, etc.). Having the housekeeping staff help restock the breakfast buffet at the same time can cause interruptions in the supply. It wasn’t a major issue, but sometimes it can lead to uncomfortable situations, especially when you’re in a hurry to leave for the day’s scheduled activities.

Wspaniała lokalizacja bezpośrednio nad morzem. Widok z tarasu na morze - niesamowity. Można było zobaczyć pływające delfiny.

Doskonala lokalizacja,piękne widoki z okna,spokojna okolica. Czysto. Poprawne sniadanie na tarasiku z cudownym widokiem,miły personel.

Brak parasola lub osłony od słońca na balkonie. Slabe zabezpieczenie posesji na noc, nie mozna bylo zostawic uchylonych drzwi na taras na poziomie ogrodu.

Hidden gem. Amazing view, super close to the beach, unique. We saw the sea from our beds; would 100% recommend this if you want a little peace and calm away from Alghero. Rafaella is an amazing host; we felt so incredibly welcome. Also some really nice restaurants around in Fertilia

We knew this upfront, so this is not a complaint at all, but be aware there is no pool! There is, however, a small set of stairs directly to the sea, which is unique and we loved. Would recommend water shoes!
