Solimar Turquoise - Adults Only

The highlight of the hotel is the food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were superb. The food was fresh and well prepared. We loved the themed dinner menu that changed every night. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was modern and the furnishings very comfortable. The location is exceptionally beautiful and the sun beds were without charge. We were in the building across the street from the beach. I also liked that the little tourist train that goes around the area is located close by. Also must mention the wonderful bartenders and great drinks especially the Cretan Strawberry.

The handrails going down to the dining room were bizarrely positioned making them useless to grab onto when descending the 3 steps. Our room 401, needed lighting outside the room at night. It was to dark. The rooftop terrace that our room was located on had a spectacular view and while there were small tables and chairs some comfortable sun beds would have been great to relax and enjoy the view.

Bathroom could have been a bit bigger and more private. We didn’t really like the glass panelling but otherwise the room was lovely.

Hotel has a very nice and clean beach area. Staff is incredibly kind and friendly. It was very kind for them to offer us a free beach access for the whole stay even though it is 8 eur per day.

The hotel does not provide the mediocre level of comfort required for “all inclusive” package. For an half board or full board package, I would give 10/10 but now only 5/10. The room has the weirdest bathroom arrangement which provides almost no privacy with glass walls. It was weird even as a couple and should be disturbing for families or friends.
