Markos ist ein sehr freundlicher und fürsorglicher Gastgeber. Wir wohnten in einem großzügigen charmanten Apartment mit allem, was für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt notwendig ist. Es wurde täglich gereinigt, sogar unser benutztes Geschirr wurde abgespült, Handtücher und Bettwäsche wurden nach zwei Tagen gewechselt. Sougia ist ein hübscher kleiner entspannter Ort mit einigen Tavernen und kleinen Geschäften in grossartiger Lage zwischen Bergen und Meer und der Ausgangspunkt für herrliche Wanderungen und Ausflüge.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wunderschön! Die Zimmer waren sehr komfortabel, gemütlich und blitzsauber. Markus und seine Frau sind absolute Traum-Gastgeber: unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Dank ihrer warmen Gastfreundschaft hat sich der Aufenthalt wie ein Besuch bei guten Freunden angefühlt. Immer wieder gern!

The apartment I stayed in was very spacious and had comfortable beds. Marcos’ wife was very kind and helpful when I requested a couple of things fir the kitchen. The apartment is on the fringe of the small village and therefore quiet and only a minutes walk to the shops, many restaurants and the beautiful beach.

I knew immediately it wasn’t a family run business. It felt quite business oriented and my small request for a bowl to make a salad in and a knife to chop vegetables was not easy. It was advertised with a kitchenette and cutlery etc but if you don’t have a mixing spoon or a large bowl it’s quite hard to cook there. Marcos’s wife was very kind and went out of her way and lent me her own cooking utensils. I then went to the local shop a minutes walk away to buy a knife and bowl which was only €8 but I felt that the business owners should pay a little more attention to the guests’ needs? Also it’s one of those places that you can’t have a window or door open for more than 15 seconds before the aircon goes off. Quite frustrating!
