We stayed in the palazzo part of the hotel. Our room overlooked the courtyard where breakfast is served and was quiet, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is buffet style and good. The reception team were excellent helping with information on things to do, buses and organising taxi transfers. The hotel is in the middle of the old town and therefore the pools are necessarily small - suitable for cooling off only. The beach is approximately a 20 minute walk away and the hotel is surrounded by excellent bars and restaurants. I have never eaten so well in Greece!
I was happy with everything. If I was being picky I might want the hot food at breakfast to be a bit warmer .

Location was fantastic, right in the centre of the old town. Be warned that you can not get a car or taxi to the door due to the street width. The hotel is very close to many really good restaurants and one irish bar. Staff at reception were very helpful. The room was quirky as the bed was on a mezzanine floor which we did not expect. Watch the stairs to the bed as that are narrow and steep.
Breakfast was very boring and repetitive to be honest. Hot food never changed during our stay. The overall selection for breakfast was good however the coffee was terrible to my taste preference. The honey was excellent. The pools were used by the pigeons for a toilet and drinking fountain so we did not use them. There was loud music playing in the nearby streets at night from local bars which is beyond the control of the hotel. We did have replacement towels every day but had stains on them.
