The rooms are a good size
The bathrooms are very dated. Quite hard to find your way around inside the property.

The attention to detail was beyond my expectations for an English pub. For example a safe, free orange juice and water bottles in the fridge, an iron and ironing board. Bothe bath and a separate shower en suite and excellent toiletries. The food was exceptional at both dinner and breakfast. I was so impressed I stayed an extra night.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room had kettle, plus fridge with fresh milk, water and juices which was a nice touch. Very large rooms with plenty of hanging space.
Parking was easy.
Dinner in the pub restaurant was very good.
Full english breakfast the next morning was excellent.
Decor was a bit mismatched everywhere but could also be seen as quirky.
Had to be a little careful in the rooms as floors not straight due to age of building.
At dinner the white wine was not cold and even with extra ice it didn't get cold until at the end.
