Friendly staff, great bar area and breakfast. Comfortable accommodation for the price. Wife liked the jacuzzi bath. Easy walking distance around the bay.

Bathroom could have been cleaner and needs regrouting.

The location is fantastic

Unfortunately we stayed in room 5. The main room concern was an adjoining door to the room next door, I was travelling alone with a 2 year old and the adjoining door had a key hung up next to it! Absolute safety red flag - I don’t know if next door also had a key but I felt immediately unsafe and barricaded the door with chairs from the room. The walls were paper thin and so noisy, we couldn’t sleep until the early hours of the morning. The people in the room next door were arguing at midnight and they had a dog who was barking as they argued, it sounded like they were in the room with us! The metal stairs outside above our room were extremely noisy and as we were ground floor people congregated outside our room after an event which went on until at least 11.30pm, the noise was wild. The bathroom flooded when the shower was used, I had to use all the towels to contain it. The beds were uncomfortable and I couldn’t undo the curtains or open a window as the glass was floor to ceiling and being ground floor everyone could see in! And with a cleaning cupboard next to the room staff were in and out constantly. Really disappointing stay, the Travelodge is actually much comfier, safer and private. The only plus side to here is the location- although I have heard the food is great at the restaurant but I didn’t try this during our stay.
