The view is wonderful as in the description, comfy bed, large room, nice staff. The bed sheets were clean.
Attention to detail missing for the money paid, for example I remained with the door handle in my hands for the bathroom and I fixed it myself. There were hair clippers in the corner of the room so that we understood that the cleaning was superficially done. The water from the shower was pouring in the bathroom which will eventually infiltrate in the door, I think the syphon was clogged or something.

We chose this hotel because of its location, price, that it had a pool and the great view from the balcony. It more than lived up to what we were expecting. As a bonus, we found the staff to be super friendly, even offering us an umbrella when we stepped out in a rain shower.
The restaurant (the one where breakfast is served, not the one on the roof) was a mixed bag. We had one meal there which was just OK and ordered a cheese plate and a fruit plate on room service that were excellent.

The view and closeness to taksim.
The room was old, the hotel requires an update and furniture needs a refresh its very outdated. The shower fan was broken, outdoor furniture was tatty, the electrical on one side of room kept shorting out so you couldnt use it. It has a stunning view but thats about it. Close to taksim but lots of noise and no soundproofing.
