Keith is an amazing host: charming, informative and just an all round pleasure to be around, he made a really stressful stay so much more enjoyable. The cottage itself is also gorgeous with a beautiful garden and really cosy interior, and location is convenient, just a ten minute drive from the city centre with a Tesco just down the road.

I really liked Keith the owner of the property. I received a warm welcome and a tour of the cottage and garden. Single bed was extremely comfortable. Keith is well travelled, and he has a very impressive collection of fridge magnets!
I was surprised to see Keith’s friend who was male staying at the property too. As a lone female traveller it felt slightly awkward. Some innuendo made it more so.
Cleanliness of the of the property could be improved, and a mirror in the single room would have been useful. Bathroom was frustratingly downstairs and shared (knew room wasn’t en-suite), had to navigate the stairs during the night to use the loo, but these were lit very well.
