Groundfloor room - not stairs ! Helpful staff dealt with all our questions. Local map and restaurant suggestions provided.
Wet room shower! Design and position of hooks/shelves etc made using it problematic... but we managed.

The hotel is in a great location and the check in could not have been more professional. Breakfast was superb.
Our room was on the second floor with no lift. Although only staying for one night our luggage was heavy. The en suite bathroom had a sliding door, however it needed a door jamb to stop it trapping fingers in the handle when closed. Finally there was no kettle.

Great location, private car parking and good breakfast. Staff were friendly, helpful and available.
Our room had voile net curtains and no real curtains to shut out the light at night and as this hotel joins another we had our breakfast in the reception area rather than the dining room, felt rather like “the cheap seats”

Perfect location, ideal for exploring the village and getting around easily. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good.
However, the room is quite small and not very practical, with only one bedside table. We had requested a double bed, but it turned out to be two single beds pushed together with double sheets. This made it uncomfortable, as the beds would separate during the night and we almost fell in the gap.
Additionally, in the bathroom there were only two small towels, which were not sufficient for a proper shower.
Overall, the experience was decent, but there is definitely room for improvement.
