From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed incredibly warmly by the ladies at reception, who spoke excellent English and made us feel more like family than hotel guests. Our luggage was taken care of, everything was explained clearly, and the whole stay felt effortless. The villa was spacious, spotless and beautifully prepared, with a lovely balcony overlooking the river. Sitting there in the evening, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle, was fantastic. The location is also excellent: completely peaceful, yet close enough to walk to restaurants and the village. Breakfast was another highlight. Everything felt very personal and homemade, with fresh fruit, water and coffee milk already waiting at the table. When we had to leave early morning, the staff prepared breakfast boxes for us with juice, water and extra cookies. Reception can arrange scooters, taxis and excursions, and everything we booked through them was perfectly organised. Even our trip to the lake was handled so smoothly that we barely had to think about anything ourselves. We also loved the little details, such as the towel cuddlies in the room and homemade products and jams available at the property. For us, this was an easy 10/10. It is one of those rare places you would return to not only because of the location, but because of the wonderful people working there.
