What a fantastic time, property and staff... great!

I had a great time catching up on sleep, good food and exercise after a stressful semester at university.

The best thing about this house is its ideal location, on the water and behind the church. I understand the owner is hoping to sell. However, there are a number of maintenance issues that should be addressed. In the cottage there is no cold water available for the shower. When it is late in the day the solar heated water can be too hot, and needs cold water to bring down the temperature.' The toilet in the cottage is below the level of the septic system, and requires a pump to be able to flush. Either the pump is failing, or the septic system is undersized for the property, resulting in multiple backups during our time there. It needs a major renovation of some type. The refrigerator is on its last legs. It can barely keep anything cool. Nevertheless, I would give the staff 5 stars. They do the best they can within the physical restrictions of the house.
