Close to the sea, quiet place. New rooms, nice and clean, very good breakfast. Tea and coffee all day available. Nice girl who works here.

Perfect location to stop for our longer drive from the north to the western peninsula. Super nice staff, plenty of toiletries offered (a rarity in Iceland) and towels. Nice sea view and the room kept a great temp. We also enjoyed the breakfast right there in the lobby. Very clean.
Moving the entry sign to a little further down would be nice, Google maps has you turn into the police station cul de sac (which also is where happens to be their sign for the hotel) so it’s a little confusing. I saw others do the same thing as us. And maybe a sign on the hotel with the name would be nice. Just to make it easier to find. Thank you ☺️

great breakfast
I booked a room with two beds because I was traveling with a friend and they ended up giving me a single bed. We ended up sleeping in the same bed. :(
