Location, staff, food, drink all great for overnight stay before continuing to Southampton for a cruise

Gorgeous property, lovely staff, excellent breakfast, top class - would highly recommended this property & would certainly stay again, just wish we were there longer than our flying visit
just need to remember you are staying above a pub so there is noise whist it’s pub hours, if you are joining in, perfect, not so good if you need an early night. Otherwise Fabulous place

Room clean and comfortable. Lovely big bathroom. Furnishings well done. Breakfast excellent. Friendly welcoming staff. Food in restaurant good.
Only slight negative was loud noise of pipe system whenever a tap or shower put on in our room and other bedrooms. Rest was positive so can overlook this although is loud enough to wake someone up

Breakfast bacon very salty and over cooked sausage not nice and coffee weak and tasteless, black pudding totally dry!
They tried too hard but did not achieve the best result, no choice on cereals just a made up dish.
Water from shower puddled under very high bath to get into and mentioned to management
