オーナーがとても親切。そして丁寧に手入れされた綺麗な宿です。初めてのジョージアで安心できる宿に出会えて良かったです。夜は静か。おかげで気持ちよく過ごせました。ロケーションは抜群です。地下鉄の駅も空港行きバス停も徒歩数分です。また、日常の買い物や食事にも困りませんでした。観光スポットには徒歩でもバスでも行きやすく、本当に便利でした。

i highly recommend Winehouse Old Quevri Apartments and without reservation. Rarely does a property score high on all three criteria: location, the property itself and the host, but winehouse does. First, location. the property is located on a fairly quiet sidestreet very close (3 minute walk) to a major metro station--avlabari. There are numerous resturants, shops, little stores, banks, a spar supermarket and huge fruit stand in proximity. It is a 4 minute walk to the old town, and 10 minutes to the amazing Holy Trinity Cathedral. Now the property itself. My room was light, airy and spacious. there was lots of shelf space, desk space and the bed was firm but not hard. no lumps or sags. the bathroom was large and well lit. there was adequate heat and ac. included is a minature fridge. a kitchen is at the renter's disposal. security is excellent with heavy duty entrance doors and locks and cctv everywhere. Finally, the host. This man is amazing. Mamuka greeted me with an offer of wine, then took me around the neighborhood and showed me where all sorts of stores and eating establishments were. then we walked to the old town where he treated me to tea in a neat little bar overlooking the kura river. This was when i first came. Mamuka always answered my whatsapp queries promptly. A couple days later, he was in the kitchen at the apartments and offered me a free container of georgian yogurt (it was the real thing!). When it was time to go to the airport, Mamuka simply offered to give me a ride there--no charge. He has to be the most generous host i have ever encountered and seems to love helping people out. I am still in awe of his generousity! If i return to Tbilisi, i will not even consider any other place.

When the bathroom vent fan is on, it tends to pull sewer odors up from the shower drain. I solved this problem by covering the shower drain with a wet towel.
