Hotel Puerto Sayulita

I feel like I couldn't have asked for a better landing spot for my first trip to Sayulita than the Hotel Puerto.  First of all it's literally right next door to the bus station so getting in and out of town couldn't be easier! It's like a 4 minute walk on the main drag to el centro and the beach, so you're conveniently located without being in the middle of the bar noise. The main beds are super cozy and all of your survival needs are only a block or two away... including the oXXo convenience store, a pizza place, pharmacy, the bank, hospital, and more! The twin pull-out bed thingy seemed kind of hard but I only used it to put my stuff on.  The safe was small but functional and secure.  The desk boys are there 24/7 to ensure that no shady characters get in and Jonathan went the extra mile to answer any questions I might have and make sure that I was happy with my room. I absolutely loved the rooftop pool and since it was the slow season I pretty much had it to myself, especially when it was a little rainy. The rooms come with A/C, your own personal wi-fi, a full size fridge, cooktop, and a nice TV.  All in all, one of my favorite mid budget hotels that I've ever stayed in.  I'll be back! 😎

The views from the rooms aren't particularly spectacular and the chickens that live across the river take their job of waking up the neighborhood bright and early VERY seriously, but that really didn't bother me.  Es Mexico!  🇲🇽 The only real bummer for me was that I left a luggage tag in the room and they texted me about it so I said I could come through town to pick it up on Friday and they said that would be great...  but then Friday came around and I went in and there was nobody at the desk so I stood there for 15 minutes in the heat and missed my bus to Punta Mita and then I finally texted the girl and she said "oh oops I have it in my possession in the next town over!"   Why wouldn't she just leave it at the desk if she wasn't going to be there on Friday when she said I could pick it up?  

Very Clean, AC, Hot water and the staff was great! We stayed in room 108 which on the inside of the hotel so we didn’t hear any outside noise. The pool and terrace area was really nice and clean as well. Its a walking distance from the center. We would stay here again!

More of a cautions statement, the ramp to the parking is steep so on the way out you need to watch for people crossing. Other than that no negatives.

Great rooftop pool, and the room was great with sweet ac. We'll looked after and very clean.

A bit noisy early in the morning with dogs and roosters, but we got used to it.

Loved the roof top pool and the large room with balcony. Very clean and comfy. Perfect walking distance into the centre of Sayulita.

Some building work across the road, but wasnt too bad.
