Locanda Montana

The whole stay was very cozy and personal as expected staying at a small family run boutique hotel. The host was amazing, greeted us with coffee and tea immediately when we arrived. The room was also very well designed with nice wooden furnitures with round edges, lots of shelves everywhere. Room was also spacious enough for us to have a nice work space, lots of windows for natural lighting and a balcony facing the mountains. Breakfast was also amazing with a variety of cakes, fruits, jams, juices, staff also made us coffees and scramble eggs. The location of the hotel is great , not too far away from town and close to the main tourist attractions enough. Will definitely stay at this hotel again if we do come back to the dolomites in the future.

We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the host’s kindness and hospitality. Even though we didn’t speak the same language very well, communication was never a problem—the host was always kind and helpful. We had to leave very early in the morning, and the host kindly drove us to the bus stop at 5:55 AM so we could catch our airport bus. They even prepared coffee for us at such an early hour, which was such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality. We would happily stay here again!

This is a hidden gem! Great location! You wake up to beautiful views. It’s very clean and comfortable! We loved our stay here. Outside of Cortina but very close to San Vito di Cadore which has everything you need. Restaurants and a grocery store and a great bakery!
