Rowntree Lodge

Good location, everything is very clean with lovely bedding and towels. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice

Nothing

Friendly, kind staff. Being kept informed with up to date information. Breakfast!

Welcoming staff. Lots of free parking close by with permit from the lodge. The room was large and comfortable and very clean

The heating (radiator) in our room didn’t work so it was quite cold. We reported it to staff who tried to get an engineer out but unfortunately this didn’t happen before we left. There was an iron and fan available in the room but no heater which would have helped somewhat. The WiFi was very sporadic with the telly constantly rebooting while trying to watch it. I completely understand that Neither of these issues were fully in the control of the lodge but did impact on the quality of our stay. The doors could do with a little handle on the outside to help close the doors as they it was difficult to get enough momentum to close it without slamming.

Room was a good size and staff very friendly and pleasant. Bed and bedding were of a good quality. Breakfast was fresh and well cooked and presented

Bathroom had mould in mastic in shower and toilet leaked from rear of pan connector
