SCP Redmond Hotel

Location is perfect for our purpose which was to go see the Smith Rock. We didn’t do breakfast, but I waited for the Cinnamon rolls that didn’t arrive timely. I wish the tea bags and hot water are available next to coffee at the dining hall.

We were doing a bend trip but going to smith rock. Which is why we ended up choosing this hotel! Because it’s literally like 20-25 mins away. Judging for what it offers… aesthetic is spot on! From the moment you walk In. 3 bars/restaurants located in the same hotel. A cute rooftop. Only wish some of the bars specifically opened a bit earlier and stayed open later too. They offer 24hr hot coffee (which is actually good). The building itself is beautiful but old so the floors do squeak and you can easily hear footsteps, or any louder than normal noise from the above room. They do provide ear plugs. I didn’t mind though. Overall I enjoy a cute hotel, the town is cute to browse and walk around and so far good restaurants. If I ever come back to Redmond to stay, I’d definitely consider this one again!

Wished the bars, opened a bit earlier and stayed open later. Maybe offer an actual fan in the room.

The location is convenient and makes it easy to explore the surrounding area. I appreciate the hotel's concept. Their focus on sustainability, recycling, and reducing waste. It is refreshing to stay at a property that genuinely tries to have a positive environmental impact.The décor and overall design shows a warm, stylish, and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of character. it is much more personal than a typical chain hotel.

The air conditioning blows directly onto the bed and is very noisy, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. The windows cannot be opened, so there is no way to get fresh air or reduce reliance on the AC. The sound insulation is extremely poor. Noise from neighboring rooms and the corridor could be heard as if it were inside our room, which significantly affected our comfort and rest.
