The location is wonderful. A minute's walk from the beach. The bungalow is peaceful and quiet.

Comfy bed, with smooth, clean bedding and excellent mosquito netting. Nice patio to sit on and secluded from the outside world. Great breakfast with proper coffee. 30 metres from the beach. Lots of info from host, and great communication. Nicely designed and presented.

You can't really swim or snorkel from the beach as it is too shallow, and full of sea urchins and boats. You can't sit on the beach either because as soon as you do sales people come and won't leave you alone. We were there in mid September and no-one sat on the beach the whole time we were there, it was empty, which looks great and then you find out why. Snorkeling trip to Mnemba with Eagle Ray Dive shop (virtually next door) was excellent.If you don't love dogs this isn't the place for you,. Also if you want to be able to sit and look at the sea you need to be in the one of the seafront bars/hotels or your view will be of people selling things.

Great location and great value for money in this intimate yet close to everything place. As a lone traveler I felt safe and had a great balance of quietness and interaction with fellow tourists and locals. Roxana's recommandation on places to eat and what to do were excellent. I also enjoyed shopping and time at the hair salon for a cut in the village center.
