Sigga is very nice, she made tasty breakfast and everything was very clean.

The bathroom is not private, you share it with Sigga. Yes, it was clean. It wasn’t really an issue but also it was. I hate sharing bathroom with anyone and when I search for accommodation it is one of my priorities, I would never book a shared bathroom. So it was not a nice surprise, I really think it should be listed correctly.

We really loved the personal touch of staying at the home of an Icelander with a lot of life experience, and really felt at home from the moment we set foot in Sigga's home, until we departed.

Sigga made a great effort to source gluten free food for one of us and provided a great variety of foods at breakfast. Sigga gave us the gluten free food, that remained after breakfast, to take with us.The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was high quality. There was a TV in the room and ample towels and other supplies. The room and bathroom were well heated. The bathroom was large and had excellent supplies of whatever you might need. Sigga was very hospitable and friendly. She told us about the area and was knowledgeable about Icelandic history.

Very nice host. We shared a bathroom with the host, that was no problem at all. Very good breakfast in the morning at the time we liked. Nice walking distance to town and Reykadalur.
